About Totzke Rugs
Commercial rug specifiers traditionally have just two choices: companies in the commercial flooring space known for durability but lacking style, or the more fashionable companies that treat rugs as accessories alongside cushions and throws but can lack either durability or elements of customization.
We saw an opportunity to merge these two worlds, creating visually stunning rugs specifically built to meet the demands of commercial and hospitality spaces. That’s been our mission from the start—and it’s only possible through the combined expertise of our team.
Together, the team help clients design and execute commercial and hospitality rug projects on budget and on a contract lead time.
Lauren Totzke
FounderLauren was born into the world of carpet. Her father owned a small plant in Mexico, and the Totzke family grew up in Dalton, Georgia, the ‘carpet capital of the world’.
With 2 decades of experience in commercial flooring, Lauren’s expertise is executing large scale commercial projects. She deeply understands all the technical details required to take a rug from concept to specification to installation to life on the floor. The knowledge of carpet construction, manufacturing and logistics sets the foundations for the creative side of our business to design from.
Her travels to India and years working with our manufacturing partner deepened her appreciation and love for traditional hand crafting and natural materials. She is passionate about having a socially responsible offering and collaborating with a diverse set of creative minds to build a beautiful and responsible brand.
Claire McPoland
Creative DirectionClaire leads the creative direction for our products and brand. She is an interior designer and has worked in London and New York designing globally. She has an inherent love of materiality, color trends, and is constantly researching and testing ideas to design textiles that inspire.
US BUsinessTarah McNaughton
Tarah oversees our US sales and distribution from New York City. With a background in tech and real estate, she has lived and worked in both London and the US. She brings an expertise in growing businesses and establishing sales structures.
Art DirectionEmma Lynne Archer
Emma is a Berlin based creative specialising in Art Direction, Interior Styling and Curation for commercial spaces and brand activations. She aims to use art and design to create beautiful spaces that capture the atmosphere and celebrate the identity of each collection.

We proudly represent and distribute J+J Flooring Group, TierGlobal and Zandur in addition to our Totzke Rugs in the UK market. We are experts in the selling and logistics of servicing London and importing/exporting from the UK.
Totzke Rugs LP
In 2025, we established Totzke Rugs LP to service US customers. It is responsible for all sales and distribution of our products in the US. We are based in New York City and we partner with agents in key markets to distribute our rugs.
